Storage at Chichester Grain is provided predominantly through large flat stores. These provide the most cost effective form of storage while smaller bays on site enable segregation of different crops and qualities. Once in store, each commodity is monitored as required with great emphasis put on decreasing the temperature of the grain as quickly as possible. When the desired temperature is achieved the crop is then safe for long term storage. Chichester Grain prides itself in storing grain long term without any quality issues. This in turn offers flexibility to our marketing agents helping them achieve the best price for the membership.
