Latest Updates at Chichester Grain

Following a period of continued development behind the scenes, we are pleased to share several key updates from Chichester Grain.

From 2024, Robin Appel Ltd. was appointed as our marketing partner. This change reflects our commitment to a focused and proactive approach to grain marketing, helping members navigate increasingly volatile markets and maximise returns through our Long Pool system.

In the same year, Ollie Sellar took on the role of Store Manager. Ollie oversees the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring efficient intake, processing and overall operations, particularly during the busy harvest period.

Earlier this year, Jack Bentall was appointed as Chairman. His appointment reinforces our commitment to strong, member-led governance and supports the continued strategic development of the business.

Alongside these developments, we have continued to invest in infrastructure and operational efficiency. This includes the addition of a new JCB 457S loading shovel, improving grain handling capacity and enabling faster, more efficient movement of grain during peak periods.
